It's Oscar season, which means that you'd be wise to catch up on all the hit movies this year so you know what the hell everyone is talking about at the post-Oscars water cooler. And, if you're already all caught up, you know that one thing is for sure: These movies were all good, but they all could have been titled much, much differently.
Luckily, one website has taken it upon itself to do just that. They've reimagined the movie posters of the year's biggest films, giving them a more...uhh...honest treatment. We have to admit, some of these are way too accurate -- #16 in particular.
#1. This movie poster for The Revenant doesn't hold anything back.
Nominated for: Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography
#2. Yep, he's at it again.
#3. Joy is a little too obvious for some tastes.
#4. Guaranteed to make you say "WTF" at least five times out loud in the theater.
#5. Every. Single. One.
#6. You have to make sure you're getting the right movie.
#7. The Hateful Eight didn't have quite the same ring to it.
#8. Mad Max: Fury Road just got summed up perfectly.
#9. Room was so, so dark.
#10. And Trump probably loved this film.
#11. It's mostly just scenes of intense thinking.
#12. Perfectly renamed, in our humble opinion.
#13. You definitely, definitely would.
#14. What can he say: Redmayne is good at transformations.
#15. We see what they did here.
#16. Brooklyn's new poster: Harsh, but fair.
