There was mild drama in the Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday, as Biafra leader Mr. Nnamdi Kanu delivered a personal handwritten letter to Justice John Tsoho denying one of the counsels on his defence team.
According to Nnamdi Kanu, the counsel, M. U. Udechukwu who argued for his bail in the last hearing was not his choice. He, Kanu insisted that he has just two lawyers- Chuks Mouma and Ifeanyi Ejiofor.
After the calm, the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu was denied bail. The Judge ordered that he alongside 2 others are remanded in Kuje prison pending their trial.
Udechekwu, in his response to the letter disclosed his intention to withdraw from the team of the defence counsels.
