Danish Lady rescues Nigerian Baby about to be killed for being a ‘Witch’

Ms. Anja Ringgren Loven from Denmark, an aid worker in Nigeria saved this baby boy who was left for dead by parents in Akwa Ihom for being a witch.

Several Children have been abandoned by their parents and die of malnutrition or killed in this part of the country.

Anja Ringgren Loven has reportedly spent 3 years in Nigeria, working in Uyo on a Rescue mission for abandoned Children tagged witches by their families. 

The movement for abolition of killing of twins, spearheaded by Mary Slessor, many years ago was started in that same region. See photos below:
