The All Progressives Congress is set to suspend the Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Professor Cladius Daramola over a physical face off between him and the Chairman of the Ondo State chapter of the party.
The Ondo state APC Chairman was reportedly assaulted by the Personal Assistant of the Minister, Nathaniel Adojutelegan who reportedly pushed the later on the chest.
According to Leadership Newspapers, the brawl is said to have occurred at the Akure residence of Senator Tayo Alasoadura, who recently lost his wife following an exchange of insults between the Minister and the party chairman during the condolence visit.
The situation deteriorated as supporters of both men attacked each other till security operatives stepped in to quell the brawl.
Stating their account, the personal assistants to the APC state chairman, Dolapo Malumi and Ayo Wisdom said the PA to the Minister had insulted Kekemeke.
They insisted that APC Ondo state will suspend the Minister from the Party.
The Minister’s PA Adojutelegan has denied the allegation that he assaulted the minister, describing it as “It is a blatant lie.”
