According to several reports, the ex-Aide-De-Camp (ADC) to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Col. Ojogbane Adegbe was involved in the collection of and transportation of $47m and some Euros from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) for the purpose of sharing to PDP delegates.
Adegbe, who The Will reported to have been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was said to have collected the said amount in company of Waripamowei Dudafa, the former Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs to Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
Col. Adegbe is being questioned by EFCC detectives on his role in the disbursement of the funds, stated as over N10 billion to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination convention delegates.
The money was allegedly diverted by the ONSA, Sambo Dasuki from a Signature Bonus Account in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
